Amazing!

I liked

haven't played quite yet but i just love the visual style and animation! it definitely looks like buckshot roulettes style, and I mean that very kindly of course. Its impressive to make it look so good like you do, and im excited to play, it looks great.

This is one of my favorite itch games its similar to buckshot yet so different, and something i have wished for so long for both games is MULTIPLAYER, imagine playing this with a friend getting to look at a custom made avatar it would be so cool. PLEASE, IM BEGGING T-T, functional multiplayer would be a big selling point for me, imagine the infinite replayability like (usually very boring games, but fun with friends) lethal company or among us, these games are boring alone or with random people but with friends would make this games SO MUCH MORE FUN.

Edit: hold up now that i reload the game i see a online vs, please ignore this comment lmfao

eventually

I really like the game,it was amazing! the desing and the idea was incredible! Btw,a simple question, how you make the camera move like the one in buckshot roulette? I was planning to do one but I dont know how or how search for that type of camera

i kinda tell the camera to just:

"transform.position = Vector3.Lerp(transform.position, target.position, 0.125f)"

or something like that.
to make it easier, i just have deactivated cameras setup around the scene and tell the main camera to copy and lerp to their positions and rotations.

Thanks for replying!! But I'm still kinda confused. I'm a Godot user btw but I think I'm able to change the unity code to gdscript if is more comfortable to you. Sorry if I'm being insistent

This was amazing. I won on my first attempt on normal mode and it felt just like buckshot. Keep up the great work man

thanks!

Tell your host to stay out of my den.

- Monster

P.S great demo btw, keen to check out the full release.

be sure to wishlist!

Indeed. Already have 😈

(+1)

this game has the same feeling of buckshot roulette and I love it

(+2)

this is just every friday for me idk if thats normal

freaky friday

(+1)

love the game  the idea of you traped in a fire tower is great

(+1)

this game it's litteraly fire.
i really liked it.

i would like to know the stats on both the player and the hosts pull rate on items. so far i have found a 90% chance the host will get a crowbar if you pull a gas can or extinguisher. Even on fair play the host seems to always pull at this rate.

For balancing reasons i think no player should be able to have more than one crowbar at a time and crowbars shouldn't be able to be used on the turn you pull them.

(1 edit)

on fair mode, pull rates are always equal between players. There is a 2 hatchet limit and 2 spyglass limit.

on normal mode, the host will start getting more advantageous pulls if the player gets too far ahead.

I really think there should be different odds for each item as the Hatchet and Spyglass don't give that much of an advantage, where the Extinguisher cancels your turn and the gas can cancels your turn and puts your opponent one turn behind.

Perhaps the hatchet needs some alternate function?

and i stand by Crowbars should be usable only when other utilities are not when you pull them.

and lastly, 4 player mode. This would be awesome to play with 4 players as each would need to think about using their items.

(+1)

can someone tell me a strat for this game, he keeps stilling my items then i lose whenever i play normal mod

-There is a 2 hatchet limit and a 2 spyglass limit.
keep 2 of each in ur inventory and you'll always pull something else.
-Host will never steal a spyglass unless he has a hatchet or arson to use it with.
-Host will never steal a hatchet unless he has a spyglass.

-Sabotage the fire extinguisher by filling the graveyard with redraws when possible. Always track the graveyard.

-On Normal mode, try to stay mostly even with the host because he'll begin cheating if you get too far ahead of him.

I love this game ambience, the buckshot roullette ambience in general is a thing that i wish to be implemented in other games, and your game did it in a great way!

The card game is simple and yet very complex at the same time (if you want be an extreme nerd), the fact that you can still win with only your tower up is impressive and terrifying.

Great demo! Continue this, i would love to buy this game!

thx! i would love people to buy this game!

good bro

(+1)

this is litterally every friday dude or am i just weird

freaky friday

(+2)

amazing game, I won on normal mode with a great strategy:

save a crowbar, and steal a gas can if he has one, then if he has a card that makes him choose another, when he extinguishes one card and its specifically that card.

I let him die brutally

:D

Hello, is it possible that the game will be available as an apk in the future? I wonder why I want to play it while I'm on the bus and the data doesn't do much for me XD

oh does the itch version of the game not load on ur phone?

(+1)

I loved it and Wishlisted it on Steam! Really looking forward to the full release!

(+1)

thanks for wishlisting!

I need Caseoh to play this

(5 edits) (+1)

dude i kept like a caseoh bingo card around the height of Arsonate's popularity.
I think he played just about every other game in top-10 but Arsonate somehow.
Mind you, Arsonate was on the front page of itch at the time as well.
I'd be suprised if he suddenly found it at this point.

idea for a secret ending

(i suck at drawing hands)

(+1)

love the game but the host pulls WAY too many crowbars. it feels like the Host has a 50% crowbar pull rate.

second note, the gasoline and crowbar as the best pulls with extinguished being a close second. the axe and telescope need a buff to be balanced out.

also this would be really cool as a 4player game, with each player needing to way the odds on using their utilities.

(+1)

so true

(+1)

I loved the idea of this and see really great potential for it, especially with the versatility of card games. Can't wait to see you expand on it.

(+1)

I beat both gamemodes without dying once. cool game tho, just easy af.

(+2)

banana

(+1)

you should add a secret ending where after beating the host, you pick up the rest of your cards and die

(+1)

I JUST WANT TO KILL THAT ANNOYING ASS MF

(+2)

Absolutley LOVE it! Geat game over all, reminds me of Buchshot Roulette with its own little twist!

<3

(+1)

I guess you could say this game is pretty...fire? *mehoymenoy!*

(+1)

I won without realizing it, the game is too easy on normal. I was also called a pity

(+1)

Idea: If you'll make more difficulties, here's an surprise for final and hardest. I care to explain: [HOST] after losing won't give up and will pull out axe, then will try to kill player, and here's mini-mechanic: In short key mash section idk, here's concept, and yeah i'm maining pixelart :pNeeded explanation? Sure!

In short [HOST] got pissed off and using his axe to kill ya. Highlighted button it the one you need to press, it's repeating in Tic-Tac sequence, aka Q-E-Q-E, upper bar shows up how much you mashing... or hp ig, in short get this high enough or [HOST] will... i dunno, maybe will try to kill you with much more force, so it'll be much harder :p

(+1)

10/10

(+1)

ngl i think fair mode not allowing crowbar stealing actually just makes the game harder since if the host gets a crowbar you cant use arson or fire extinguisher anymore because he will steal it instantly next turn. instead of being able to rob the hosts crowbar to stop this like in normal you just need to scrap 50% of the tools you get lmao

(+1)

also unless im unlucky i think the host cant get extinguisher or arson while you have a crowbar which is mean :(

(+1)

oh i won, yippee

silly lil idea for an ending:

both you and the host die (or live i guess but thats boring) if the only possible move for both players is burning their own tower AND both have an extinguisher and a gas can

(+1)

i think ive pretty much figured out the AI ngl

(1 edit) (+2)

pyro? what are you doing here?

-engineer tf2

(+3)

"mhrphprhhr!"

(+1)

So glad to see the progression of this game! Haven't had a chance to play it since the jam. It looks like you've done some amazing work on it since! Can't wait to re-play it now!! :D Great work!

(+1)

heyyy!
good to see you again!

(+1)

Это круто

(1 edit) (+2)

Sound and visuals were atmospheric and immersive and there’s genuine tension towards the endgame. Full marks on presentation.

But… I do feel like success is very much dependent on luck: what your board looks like and what utilities you get. I understand that it’s The Point, some desperate death game that’s rigged against you. But that also means I didn’t really feel like playing it more than twice once I “got” the winning strat.

I think it’s a wonderful demo and I’m glad you’re still responding and shitposting down here in the comment section. I just think it needs a bit more complexity and replay value :)

(+1)

this is true

(+1)

that was amazing. you guys did amazing!!

thanks!
