Horror, fun card game with an interesting concept. It seemed for me to be pretty original, although it's challenging to win, as this is severely RNG-based and my opponent got like million crowbars and also I am hoping to see more development here, because some utilities aren't good enough for being utility.
By far the strongest and unbalanced utility is a crowbar, if you have many crowbars, you're going to win. Which can be seen on this video lol.

it says there are 52 acre cards, but the field is only 7x7, meaning only 49 cards? you could just do a grid of 4x13 to squeeze in all 52 if you wanted, and offset the towers at either end
Stunning game, dare I say it's almost as good as inscryption? I've played this so many times! the puzzling tickles my brain the right way. Though i do feel like the rng goes a little too wild!
Annoying thing: Even in fairplay mode, the host can still use items after his move, which you can't, I played like, 3 partial games, they stole at least 15 items from me with this, which is why those were partial games.
This has a lot of potential! Keep it up! I was thinking for a long time to make a game with cards inspired by Buckshot Roulette, but now I see someone had the same idea long before me. I guess I need to find another idea for my first little commercial game
The tutorials were spot on, and I like that you can view them anytime you want. The environment gradually burning around is also pretty damn cool.
This is just a nitpick of mine but I think the music can be improved just a bit, it feels a tad bit shallow for the situation and because of that it get's repetitive.
I think the reason buckshot doesn't have this is because the music has more depth and it feels close to the games animation style and speed. Again, this is just my opinion but I really can't think of anything else that would improve this game since it's already pretty darn polished on all the other things.
I'll be wating for the full release, really enjoyed this demo.
Yeah the music is def lacking. Couldn't come up with much more for it. Tho to be fair, Buckshot set the bar HIGH coz that stuff slaps imo. Low on the priority list atm.

Not sure why I'd program the bot to cheat in "Fair Play" mode. That's what the other mode is for. So the player can choose to have it either on or off.
But the bot is always counting cards tho. Much like a black jack player. Estimating how many of each card there is, but not knowing where they are. Something the player can do as well. He just calculates the probability of a favorable outcome and acts on it.
I have some problems while playing the game. I can play it almost normally but without the sound. Or I can play with sound and then the game just freezes and I can't continue. By the way, the sound just randomly starts when I start the game, sometimes the sound is there but often not. What should I do?

Advantages: the game is still ok after experience. Disadvantages: there are still some requirements for the performance of the mobile terminal.

yeah the 3 cards are stored out of bounds while 3 more are over written to be tower cards.

I think both players may use the crowbar as soon as they get it, but all other items wait until the next turn.

If i could get a video clip of how exactly this looks, it would help a lot.
iirc, I setup a custom system for managing SFX in memory to make it browser friendly.
If the game takes too long to load a sound or fails to load a sound, it should just continue execution but the sfx doesn't play.
I want to share an incredible round.
The end of the game I have 5 unopened cards at THE HOST 3. He has a crowbar item.
- His move. Turns over the card with the object and gets gasoline. 5:2
- My move. I calmly realize I still have plenty of options and I win. I turn the card over and I get a can of gasoline. 4:2
- His move. Steals the canister from me and sets fire to my item card and gets a fire extinguisher. 3:2
- My move. Turns over my card and gets a spyglass. 2:2
- His turn. Lights my card on fire with an ordinary card. 1:2
- My move. I'm just shocked and there's nothing left to do but look at my last card with a spyglass and flip it over. 0:2
- His move. Extinguishes his card and turns it over quietly. 0:2
- My move: I lose.

iirc, he shouldn't be able to flip another card unless it's a redraw.
though the fact that the crowbar can be used immediately does make it seem a little confusing.
