When the game will get realeased on steam and itch.io it is gonna have something extra from what we have seen? (not including the online versus cause we already know that)
Sadly, I recently had to bump the release date to March 2026 because Steam's October NextFest is happening too soon and the game isn't ready to show off yet. (needs translations.)
The game will have some extra stuff but it's secret.
i have one thing to say this game is awesome and all Nash but why does the Host get to use his Items when he gets them immediately but we have to store ours and then next turn we can use them?
As far as I can tell, the Host uses his items one turn after, just like you. The only item the Host can use immediately is the crowbar. You can use crowbars immediately as well - when it prompts you to store the crowbar, select one of the Host's item boxes.
The game is kinda unfair with double down on normal mode.
I mean like The HOST is flipping a card with an axe and its normal the HE DOUBLE DOWN and he gets a utillity card and HE WINS 4 UTILLITY WHEN I CAN BARELY WIN 3 and at somewhat point he litteraly gets 5 (or 6 i dont really remember) UTILLITY.
And the CROSBAR is kinda unfairly too cause from like 4 utillity he gets... he is getting MORE THAN 2 CROWBARS
and he stole half of my inventory and he stoles only the GOOD items
Hatchet has the additional effect of increasing Double Down payout by +2. This applies for both cards struck during Double Down.
Combine that with two Utility Cards, the highest possible payout is 7. This can greatly increase your odds of getting a crowbar and stealing everything back.
If you would like The Host to play fairly, a fair mode is available.
By the way, I would like to ask a few questions. Will this be paid or free when the official version is released? Will the price be the same as buckshot roulette or similar?
the lore in this game is derived from another game i made before this one. it wasn't very good though. briefly put, GladderVines is a ghost town of anomalous nature.

EDIT: On further inspection, some elements look like they might be AI generated. If this is true, I would appreciate some disclosure. If not, I'm very sorry.
Of course, this was a collaborative effort, for example, I created the general idea with Photoshop (icons, main content, the fire, the box, etc...) While the AI helped me decide some details in the finalization process and adding effects.
This may sound a bit artificial, but it's for personal use only. If you, the owner of the game, wanted to create a commercial version for example, I would see this as a base model for an original product.
i loved the part where i was about to win and he hit a jackpot, giving him 3 extinguishers (0.008% chance i think) (just sharing a thing that happened to me, game is fun and extremely well done)
This game is amazing... The host is smart, eerie, and quite, fair. The game's mechanics are amazing, it allows a combination between luck and tactics. Online multiplayer sounds splendid, can't wait for the full release!!
Played for the first time after a few months and I got incredibly caught off guard by the host calling me out on switching tabs, can't wait for the full release!
I'm trying to figure out a way to play this with a standard deck of cards. I love this game so much, and sometimes when I don't have internet, I wanna play it.
Chances are, either the host counted the cards and wasn't confident in finding a utility on the next draw, or he backed down after checking his "Risk Tolerance" which decreases if he's losing badly enough.

I would try to find a Utility card,
then use a hatchet on it if you got one.
Redraw + Utility (+2 Hatchet) = 4 Utility payout.

Blank + Utility = 1
Redraw + Utility = 2
Utility + Utility = 3
Every hatchet used during this adds +2 more to the payout.
So Hatchet->Utility + Hatchet->Utility = 7
Only utilities will payout.

also there are a few bugs sometimes if you click out of the dialog to quickly the cards wont show up and you have to reset the game
